| Snow warning! OK, someone should have told me.....I had no idea what happened to Yorkies with long hair in the snow!!! Tink had such a small amount of hair! How can I stop Bluebelle coming in looking like a snow man?? Her fur is getting matted and the snow sticks like a sticky thing! MobileMe Gallery |

| Same here. Fortunately we only get a few snows here in Oklahoma, and most of them aren't very much. But, I do know exactly what you mean!

| Mine go straight from outside to the bathroom and stand in line for the hairdryer. I use "The Stuff" spray on conditioner in the winter and the snowballs usually just comb out.

In fairness, it snows seldom here in the Uk and usually is insignificant, but we have about 10 inches at the moment and she is loving it, she keeps dinging her bell to go out and then she starts to gather snow the more she moves around... | |

| I know what you mean about the snow sticking in their hair. Whenever it snows Louis goes hopping through it like a rabbit, and then he does this "face plant" in the snow over and over. I am not sure what he is doing, he just sticks his face in the snow like he is looking for something in there. Then when he comes in, he has snowballs all over his face and legs! I have some really funny pics of him! (I also use a hairdryer to melt the snow.) |

| LOL, so cute. I remember last year when Jackson was a puppy, he got those horrible snow balls, too.

YT 500 Club Member | But the snowball look is so cute on them. Your so lucky you've had some, we barely had a few flakes so far. Cant wait until Rosie sees her first real snowfall, judging by her reaction to rain she'll probably go into hybernation until spring, she's such a princess about the whole weather thing. Used to use the hair dryer trick on mine too, best to stand them in the sink or on the drainer when you do it though, more mess than de-frosting the freezer. |

| Awwwww that's exactally what Buddy looked like last week! I cut his leg hair shorter because I couldn't get the snow off the hair. It just clug to it. Sometimes it dosen't but sometimes it does. I guess it depends on what kind of snow we get. The packing kind or the wet kind |
