| My baby's coat... please read and help! Hello everyone, I'm buying my new little baby next month from an out of state breeder, and she's keeping me updated with pictures. I got the latest ones a few days ago and I uploaded it on here. She is 16 weeks old... my question to everyone on here is at what age does their coat fully grow in? Does my new baby look a little scraggly, or is her look normal for 16 weeks? The breeder said that her look is normal for her age, as the puppy coat is growing out and her adult coat is coming in. For how much I'm paying and the fact that she will be a permenant part of the family for many years to come, I want her to have the best look possible (sorry if that sounds kind of shallow!). Again, this is my first Yorkie, so I put this in your hands to show me the way!

| She looks so sweet in the Avatar, but I don't see anyother pics, where are they? My girlie will be 11 mos on the 25th, look at some of her photos on my albums.

| When I got Winston he was around 15 weeks and looked like a scraggly little black and brown puff ball. After a couple months of having him I could see his true colors coming through. It took almost 6-7 months for him to completely turn. My Avatar pic is kinda hard to see but he is blonde and gray with a touch of tan and might I say super cute! Don't worry, your new baby will have its adult coat before you know it and you'll want another You can always ask to see pics of the mom, dad, adult brothers and sisters to get an idea of what the coloring will be...just a suggestion, hope it helps! Congrats on your new baby!! |

| This is all I have of her, again the breeder sent me just the 2 pictures a few days ago (I have others that I'll upload from when she was younger). I have seen pics of the mom and dad, and also of the others in her litter, I picked her out of the bunch. Mom and Dad both are beautiful, as well as her litter mates... I agree with all of you though, it's just so hard to tell from these pictures! Did any of you have your babies at 15 weeks, and if so did their coats look similar?

| Bella was very scraggly and thin when we got her a 4 months. Now she has a thick, healthy, shiny coat. It's hard to believe she has become some strong and healthy when she was such a tiny, thin, little girl. |
