| That's it! I've GOT to learn to groom myself! I have had issues before with different groomers not listening, but after today, I am over it!! I specifically said 3 times, DO NOT touch the hair on Lexi's face! I just wanted a sanitary cut and I wanted them to shave their bellies after seeing a thread on here and since I have so much trouble with matting there. Well, they shaved her nose and neither of them even had bellies shaved!! I know people make mistakes, but we talked about it and he even repeated what I wanted!! Agh!!! I am just so afraid to do it myself and that I will mess them up, but I am tired of paying for the PROFESSIONALS to mess it up!!! She is still my pretty little princess, but why did they have to shave the nose!!!!! And soooo short!

| OMG What a beauty Lexi is and her Christmas dress is gorgeous! I would be angry if I were not listened to, too and this frightens me enough that we are gonna try to do it ourselves (my husband has some experience) or I will be there and watch at a groomers. I think maybe I could practice on a stuffed bear?? lol - only partly kidding! She is so beautiful and I dont think she knows they didn't do what mommy asked

| It always makes me mad when groomers cut too much! I realize hair will grow back, but still we are all paying for this service at least do as we say. Lexi is still a cutie!

| I have to say...Lexi is a heartbreaker!! Soooo beautiful!! I hate it when groomers ask you how you want it, and then go ahead anyway and do it the way they want to do it!! I think they just do what's easiest for them!!

| I'm sorry! She looks absolutely adorable though. I found a good groomer I like for Jackson but she charges $50 and I always give a $10 tip. I looked for someone cheaper in the summer to get him shaved... and they shaved him wayyy too short and they did the nose shave thing, too. It wouldn't have been so bad, but his nose was shaved like your little ones and I hated it! I don't know why they do that -- I guess it's the "easy" way to get rid of the eye boogers/hair there, but ughh! For cost reasons, I want to learn to do it myself but it never looks as good.

| thear is a woman in my area who works for the pound and humane society and she dose a great job sometimes she gets a little short but she always listens and so dose the one for moms area maybe you should call and ask who dose the grooming for the pound and humane society in your area they dont get paid alot to do that so they are normally really careful with the people who pay them

Do they go to hair dressing school, and then specialize in dog grooming for their hours and hours before their actually licensed? or what... You can go and get bad/cheap hair cuts for humans and pay $10-$20 so why pay $50 for some idiot to cut your dog's hair? I want to know the standards. | |
