| You need to put incontinence pads in the band, they hold much more than sanitary pads will and they will keep the urine drawn away from his skin so it doesn't get irritated. Several YT members recommended I use the Walmart brand of the Poise ultimate size pad, and they work great! I have left one of Jordy for several hours and it held every drop so that band wasn't even soiled.

| Ok, I use the non-elastic ones, those don't put the pressure on them. I am suprised he his soaking threw them that quick.

| No, I don't think so. Do you think you have a sensitive nose? or do you think something could be wrong with him?

I have bought reusable puppy pads from Petsmart and they work very well and are good quality. Now I order mine from YT member RDB11 I think is his username - he has a thread in the yorkie products for sale section. His are excellent quality and much less expensive than those at petsmart. His service is great, too.

| My little Joey is a hiker. I make his belly bands. He is about 6 lbs and I take a very soft flannel and sew it to be 4 inches wide 15 inches long. I then check fit it to him and attach velcro allowing it to be able to be a little tighter or looser. I then purchase the carefree pantiliners and put in the center of the belly band. BEFORE i put it on Joey, we go potty and I make sure he pee pees. Then we put the band on. It is designed to aid in the marking the little boys just love to do. Not as a way to actually releve himself. If we are traveling he will have his band on, but just as we get ready to enter the home we are visiting, the band comes off and He goes potty. Then put the band back on. I have to do this at night when I allow him to go to bed with us. I clean up his markings and he wants to put them back. I hope this helps you, I check his band as we leave the house we visit and change out the pantyliner if needed (and it is) also I keep the moist wipes and use these to keep him clean. Also 1st thing in the am I remove the band and then take him potty. I don't leave it on him while we are at home unless I have cleaned the house and might be expecting guest. Or I have gone shopping, then he gets banded before I start to bring in the purchases unless I want to find wee wee on them. Little Stinkers. Joey is learning what the banding means. And he thinks he is special when he wears his |
