| tutorial for a fundle like carrier? I wanna make a fundle like carrier to carry my pix in. they are so neat, zip on top/mesh vented so she could go in the stores with me. I like the smaller curved shape size. they retail for about $125 way beyond my budget any one got an idea of how to go about stitching one up? thanks Lisa |

| The fundle really reminds me of my "healthy back bags". You mention stitching one up... if you're pretty good with patterns I've seen patterns for something similar. A couple months ago I was browsing through the books at Joann's and saw a pattern for a tear-drop shaped bag like the Redefining Style :: Classic Healthy Back BagŪ I would think it would be pretty easy to convert it into a bag similar to the fundle. In fact... you really might not have to convert anything at all. I tried finding the pattern myself a few weeks ago with no luck - but if you go to a fabric store and just sit down and look through the books you should be able to find it. |

| The fundle shape isn't difficult, but finding the right kind of mesh and installing the double zippers might be. I've seen the fundles in person and while they are a neat concept, they are not worth $125. They are just made of cordura (backpack nylon)... |

| You can get a Fundle for $98 at Pink Pupppy - Free Shipping in the U.S. Dog Carriers, Pet Carriers, Pet Sling Fundle, PuppyZzang I have a black one. It is very well made, and I like the way it hugs your body and doesn't swing or stick out. I think I have seen patterns for slings. Would love to see a picture if you make one.
