| How do you describe the size of your baby... Someone once asked me how big Nicky was... I said.. "Well he is 5 pounds" Then they said, well compair him to something. I was thinking in my head... Well 5 pounds isn't that big, duh... lol... So I started thinking... then said... Well my sisters cat is bigger then he is. My other dog Rocky is bigger than he is. Then all they said was, oh. But this got me to thinking... When someone askes you what do you say.. I tried going by his actual size, just wondering what you all say. No biggie...

Donating YT 500 Club Member | 5# bag of sugar, but different shape? It's anybody's guess what exactly people want & they don't really know either most of the time. I know Roxy's body length, so I guess I'd just tell them that. Other option would be to go 'about yea long & yea wide' (using hands to demonstrate). I don't figure most people are really want to know for any particular reason other than curiosity. Most won't even be interested in even owning a yorkie, so I don't figure it really matters too much.

| Usually people have said to me that they've had animals bigger so I'm guessing that they can visualize their size. We've got a lot of big dogs in my neighborhood--New Foundlands, shepards and labs to name a few...we are always joking that their piles of poo are larger than one of my babies. (gross but gets the idea across, lol)

| I tell them a gallon of milk is 8# So a 5# dog is a little more than a half gallon of milk with legs. |

| I just say that God was looking after me when he gave us Toto ... she is five pounds!! When I was diagnosed with worse than severe osteoporosis and my doctor told me to not dare pick up more than 5 lbs. ... I said "thank God, I can at least pick up Toto"!!!

| Molly is about the size of a cat, but shorter legs and a more chunky body!
