| Help us name our New little love. We could use a little help with some good ideas on the longer AKC name and short everyday name for our new little yorkie. So far she is a little sweetheart and loves to give kisses but still being such a young puppy she pretty much sleeps eats plays for 10 and repeats. The wife and I love our southern roots and the Mrs.(who i bought the pup for) is a cajun. We love going to LSU football games, Italian food(and cajun of course), We like to cook together and enjoy some good wine and visiting wine vineyards. HELP!!!!! |

| Voodoo and Chelsea comes to mind. xD "_____'s Hocus Pocus" a.k.a Voodoo. -or- "_____'s Divine Chelsea" a.k.a Chelsea. I'm no good at AKC registration names. |

| Ruth or Ruthie Harriet Clair or Clara Louisa (since you are an LSU Fan) Bell or Bella (Southern Bell) Liz (short for Elizabeth) Beatrix (Bea) Her name could be Miss Beatrix (insert your last name) This is my Fav! Last edited by Cha Cha; 12-05-2009 at 07:40 PM. |

| How about for the everyday name: Chardonnay and call her Char or D'Nay for short or Pinot Grigio and call her Gigi for short? For the longer AKC registered name, I like to use part of the mom or dad's registered name. Like Jack's dad is named Zim's Sir Ivanhoe so Jack's registered name is Sir Ivanhoe's Captain Jack. If Jack was a girl, I would have used the mom's name which is E&E Hailey. So I would probably do something like Hailey's Special Comet or something along those lines.

| Ok, these are just rough drafts... haha! But I was thinking about mixing all of your favorite things together. You can mix and match the names to make the AKC name... I came up with: Cajun-- ju ju for short. Amore-- italian for love-- use Moura (like in Peter pan) Creole-- call her Lola Jumbalaya -- call her bayla or layla Vino-- wine in italian-- call her Vivi or Vivian EX: Cajun Creole Amore or Amore Vino Good luck!

| Oh gee, I'll be no help in this area. Teddy kept his breeding name along with my husband's last name for his AKC registration. "Shenanigan's Teddy Hobson" And we call him Teddy Bumpkins or just "Boo" So, like I said, I'm no help!! LOL

| Naming new pups is SOOO hard, it took us almost a week to name Hendrix and I think it took even longer to name our new baby, Lucy. Its SO difficult and I am NO help, but let us know what you decide! |
