| Hi Tuckcy and a very warm welcome to Yorkie Talk. I am glad that Luk Tan told you about this site. Her little Cha Cha is gorgeous and your little 4 month old Tungmay is really cute. May I ask you what the meaning is of your Yorkie's name "Tungmay"? How awesome that we have members from all over the world and exciting! Please don't ever worry about having a proper vocabulary in this site. Heck, you did wonderful! Congrats on your little Tungmay and to having your first dog! I bet Luk Tan will give you gobs and gobs of Yorkie advise along with all the members here. I am happily owned by Schatzie - her name means hidden treasure or sweetheart in German. She is almost 10 months @ 7 1/2 pounds. Thank you so much for sharing the picture of Tungmay. I hope you stay close to Yorkie Talk and share all your wonderful experiences with Tungmay!

| Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you joined us!! Your Tungmay is adorable! Yorkies are wonderful dogs! If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask. There is so much knowledge from the members here - it is great. And don't even worry about your English - as was said, we Americans butcher our own language on a regular basis - myself included!

| What a beautiful doggie and congrats on owning a dog! I never got to own a dog as a child, but as a teenager I got my first Yorkie. I love dogs a lot more than cats. They are more fun and outgoing, love you, etc. Don't feel bad about your grammar; it's very good! I have a friend at school from Indonesia and while her grammar isn't perfect, just like you, it can be understood very easily. The more you interact in English, the better you'll get! As for your puppies well-being... first I would check to see what kind of food she is eating and what the ingredients are. Sometimes by-products are included and they aren't good for dogs, especially puppies. There are a lot of healthy dog foods on the market, so you might search the internet and look at some of them. Secondly, make sure you feed your puppy 3 or 4 times a day, because Yorkies are so little they need smaller meals more often, to make sure they don't suffer from hypoglycemia. And, of course, make sure there is clean water around if your puppy gets thirsty! Don't let small children play too rough or hold her by themselves, they might drop her. Also, you might try to get her used to getting her hair brushed and her teeth brushed, because it will be important when she's older and puppies HATE it... just slowly introduce her to it. Hope that helps and welcome to the forum! |

| Absolutely a warm welcome and yorkie kisses from ... Pita and I. Yes this board is full of some of the greatest people that I've met so far on the internet. I love to come here, and sometimes I get so caught up in the conversations that I forget the time and end up being here literally hours longer than I intended. The site can become quite addictive since the people are great and the conversation whenever it's about Yorkies is my favorite of all conversations in a days time!! Welcome Tuckcy and Tungmay, glad to meet you on the other side of the world. English is bad? LOL stick around awhile and watch and see how bad we can butcher our own language. WELCOME!!!!

| Hi and welcome, Tuckcy and Tungmay!! It's very cool for our little forum to be multicultural! I have a 4 month old Yorkie named Turbo, Bo for short and an 8 year old Schnauzer named Woody (who despises poor little Bo). I can only imagine what would happen if we all got our babies together on one side of the world or the other and had a giant Yorkie-Mania!! Bo would love to have playmates since Woody won't play with him . Of course Bo nipping at Woody's bottom doesn't help their relationship. Your little guy is precious. Send more pictures and please stay in touch!! |
