| How much to feed????!! How much food do I feed my little man? He's five pounds. I'm feeding Flint River Ranch dog food. I've read about people feeding 1/4 cup. Is that twice a day? He will eat as much as I give him until he's about to pop. My little piggy! I can't let him graze all day. |

| Each dog is different, but yes use the feeding guide on the bag as a starting off point. Some dogs will eat till they pop, others will just nibble, just like people. I feed twice a day, once at 12pm, and once at 8 pm (I have a late schedule). with some healthy snacks inbetween. tiny bits of carrot, cucumber, hard boiled egg white. Oh how old is he BTW?

| He's almost nine months old. The bag says one cup twice a day which is crazy. I've been doing 1/4 cup twice a day. When I got him the breeder let him graze and so I tried it and soon learned he can't stop himself. He has such a little body and he looks overweight to even be five pounds. I know that may sound silly. He looks like he should weigh half of what he does. |

| Well Uni is between 5.5 - 6 lbs. She is almost 3 yrs old. I give her a bit less than 1/4 cup each feeding. So about 1/2 cup per day. Growing pups are always kind of unknown, but once you get past the one year mark you should know more. If you can't see/feel their waist anymore, they are getting too much!

| Kimbo eats 3/8 a cup of dry food a day. I divide that into 3 meals.

| Thank you all. I can't see his little waist or feel his ribs. It sounds like I'm going to have to cut down just a bit more. |
