| Really CURIOUS! I am just laying her on the couch and Peanut all of a sudden started to do some zoomies, then followed by grabbing his toys and running (while squeeking them) around the house.. I am seeing him play like this and it reminds me of when he was a Pup. Peanut is 2 years old, I was just curious do yorkies always play like they are puppies.. I never had a dog before so I dont really know.. My Mom said as long as I play with him he will always "want" to play.. Just curious if its a "yorkie" thing or a "dog" thing in general Peanut is great bc when I dont want to play, he will just play by himself

| Couver is 1 year and one month today... and he still acts just like he did when he was a puppy. I think he will slow down when he gets older, much like other dogs do... but I honestly do not know when this will happen

| That is cute, I think small dogs are more energetic and act like puppies even when they are older, not sure thou this is my first time with small dogs only had bigger dogs before.

| Chloe will be 6 in January and still plays with her toys like a pup when she wants too. Also if we play with her she will still run around full speed with her toys in her mouth like she did when she was younger.

| Zoomies Be prepared, Yorkies and Maltese and Morkies are called perpetual (sp) puppies. Seems like this zoomie thing can go on for most of their lives as long as they are healthy. Belle just amazes us with how fast she can go. Sometimes with a toy, other times just growling at them as she goes by. Our Lab hates it as she likes to use him as a springboard. She also jumps right on him if he's in the way. My husband just looked at me like Belle had lost her mind the first time he saw her doing this. I explained them to him and he said it was another thing about Morkies that I neglected to tell him |

| Add a cat to the zoomie picture and it gets wild around here. There's been times, like two nights ago, that at 4am Reesie decided it was time to play alarm clock with her squeaky toy and zoomed around the bedroom in the dark squeaking that thing. |

| Chipper was 13 years old when he crossed thre Rainbow Bridge. He played like a puppy until he got very sick. As he aged the play sessions just didn't last as long but the intensity and excitement was always there.
