| My uncle does Thanksgiving at his house every year, and most of the family goes to that. However, since my parents divorced and mom has a new guy (that no one likes, lol), Dad is by himself and I can't stand the thought of that. So I decided last year to cook myself, and have Dad over. This year, we're having not only Dad here, but also one of my sisters, her husband and son, and my best friend and her two girls (her husband is deployed). Here is the menu for this year. Me: Turkey, cheesy broccoli & rice casserole, candied yams, rolls, my no-bake cherry cheesecake, pumpkin pie, apple cobbler. My sister is bringing herbed cheesy mashed potatoes, My best friend is bringing bread pudding, Dad is bringing the cranberry sauce.

| My family always does pot luck. We're frying a couple of turkeys (one for my parents and one for my inlaws) and bringing green bean casserole to my parent's house. We will be buying another turkey for the weekend. Can't get enough of fried turkey. It is soooo good! |

| I'll be cooking this year much to the dismay of my family. Ever heard that saying - "I only have a kitchen because it came with the house"? No one has ever called me Better Crocker! As you sit down to a wonderful dinner, think of my poor family, but bless them for being so brave! Not really sure how "thankful" they will be!

| I just love Thanksgiving! My hubby always does all the cooking (and my mom and I do the clean up). He sticks the bird in the rotisserie and it comes out soooo tender! Yummm!! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

| I am! It's really the first time in a couple of years so I'm excited. We used to do it all the time. For starters, rumaki, sweet and sour meatballs, potstickers then we've got, turkey, ham, sweet potatos, potatos cut up and cooking turkey juices and drippings, stuffing, cranberry sauce, broccoli, green beans, salad, macaroni pasta salad, homemade (awesome) pumpkin pie with freshly whipped cream, chocolate cake and brownies.

| Just spent 4 hours in the kitchen! I made two batches of homemade mashed potato casserole (10 lbs of potatoes! ) and my mom's famous cornbread stuffing. I'm having Thanksgiving lunch with my family in the early afternoon and dinner with my roommates/friends at our house in the evening. LOTS of eating for me
