| As a matter of fact... I do... 1 normal size bottle of Hydrogen peroxide 1 teaspoon of Dawn dishsoap 1 tablespoon of baking soda mix together and pour on stains or put in squirt bottle and spray. Let it sit and dry overnight, and sweep up. Works wonders, give it a try. Dont store in squirt bottle,, can have some kind of reaction...

| This is not a home remedy, but I use OdoBan in my carpet cleaner(I have a Bissell), it is a multi-purpose cleaner and I live by it. It can be used as a Air freshener, Fabric refresher, I use it to mop my floors, in my laundry everything. This is what I like most about the product, it kills 99.99% of Germs and it takes urine smell out. IT"S THE BEST!!!! I can only find it at Sam's Club. Good luck....

| I have used vinegar in my steam cleaner before. Some people don't think the vinegar works though, some do. It seems to have for me I've had several people in my home that all say it smells fine. It was my mom and sister as well as others but these two wouldn't hold anything back, they would tell me even if I didn't ask. I would soak up the spot with paper towels and then spray it very well with vinegar. I also used it in my steam cleaner as I said before just to make sure I got everything. I put about a cup and a half or so in with the water and just ran it all over my house. I didn't use any soap with it. Just the water/vinegar solution and let it dry. My mom swears by vinegar she told me that if I think the house still smells to get down on all fours and smell until I find any spots then soak them with vinegar. I've also used simple solution carpet shampoo in it (you can get it at petsmart). It says to spray the carpet with it then use your cleaner to rinse it off and stuff but I just put it in the soap thing on my cleaner. I ran over a small section using the soap only then went back over it to rinse and soak it up a few minutes later, that way the soap had a little time to work. Hope you find something that works for you.

| Hmm...I didn't realize that. I have always tried to rinse well and suck up as much as possible but I didn't realize it would attract dirt if you didn't. I bought one a few months ago and apparently I didn't rinse the soap out enough because my floor felt sticky so the next time I rinsed the heck out of it and it was darn near dry when I was finished soaking everything up too, it worked though. My mom has had one for a few years so I've used hers before and never had that problem, I don't know if it was the soap or what but whatever it was I fixed it the next time.

| I use odormute for EVERYTHING. laundry stinky things, peed on linolium , everything. The trick to it is use stronger then recommended for tough smells and use like recommended for freshening. And YES I have used it Tons of times in my carpet steamer/cleaner. It works great with the orange scent steamer cleaner(possibly by bissell not sure).

| Your veterinarian will also be able to recomend a medical grade odor remover. IF you want something 100% hassle free and guarenteed to get every last atom of odor, I'd go with what they recomend. I often wonder if my ease of potty training is not due mostly to using a medical grade odor killer right from the start... |
