| Coat colors So my Burton is 10 months old and his coat is mainly black but the lower portion is turning silver. I was wondering if he is going to turn all silver or will he stay mainly black? When did your yorkie stop changing colors? I'm just wondering, of course I love him no matter what color he turns. |

| From what I've read here (it's a sticky in the General Yorkie Talk section), when they are black as pups, they turn into a mixture of tan and blue (gray). There may be a few sprigs of black here and there but mainly tan and blue. |

| All puppies are born black and tan. Their coats will change color their entire life. Saddles will remain black/blue
