| Oh my gosh I'm milking my dog Well it's confirmed, Shayna is having a false pregnancy. I couldn't figure out what was going on with her since her heat in August. Well the vet confirmed it and has shown me how to express the milk and I am dying of laughter. She 's been looking like a cow and now I have to milk her. My DH says "Do we get a machine for this" LOL. She's been a nesting freak for months now. Anyone else gone through this?" How long does this part last? |

No Longer a Member | I have had dogs have false Preg. but I have never milked them. I thought that milking would make them produce even more milk as that is just like the pups nursing. Cant the vet give her a shot to dry her milk up? |

| He said if he treated her with progesterone, she might not be able to conceive when the time does come to get pregers. And told me to express her, so she doesn't get an infection there. Wheeeee this is really strange. Atleast I'm laughing. |
