Yorkie Talker | Suggestions Needed Right now I am bathing my furbaby in Johnson baby shampoo and Pantene Conditioner. I know there has be better stuff to use. Can anyone offer some suggestions to bath my furbaby in. I have ordered some mink oil for his coat. They told me it helps to train the hair to split down the back and also keeps the coat shiney. Any other suggestions out there? |

| I use Bio-Groom fluffy puppy shampoo, and Bio-Groom silk conditioner. I also use Pantene conditioner. You can go to Bio-Groom's website and ask them to mail you samples. I did and they sent me 5 bottles. Hope this helps! |

| Coat Handler I use The Coat Handler Shampoo and their leave-in conditioner. Awesome shine! I spray the conditioner on the brush between shampoos. I have a cottony and a silky coated yorkie and both coats always feel, smell and look great! |

| I second the biogroom! All petsmart should have a small selection of their products (their line is HUGE!) They do send nice samples too, so be sure to email them and ask. Just remember you have to dilute the product (it works better that way too.) Even just the little sample bottles should get you 3-4 shampoos or more. I picked up a couple hair color applicator bottles from the public beauty supply store (Sally's) and I use that to dilute and apply the shampoos/conditioners. Since it has the oz markings its super easy to just fill up your bottle with an ounce or two and then just add the 4 oz/8 oz you need. Shake a squirt! (For me this makes bath time sooo much easier since Winston hates it. Quick squirt down the back with no shampoo sliding off my hands and into the tub where I don't want it and since its not thick it moves down and spreads nicely all over his body.) Their products are cheap (around 6-9 a bottle) and since they are super concentrated they last quite a long time! (A bottle lasts me about 40-50 washes so about $.20-.16 a wash.) |
