| That's what I'm facing right now She will stay calm only when I place her on my laps, anyway she has been sleeping in crate since I first brought her home 8 months ago, but just all of a sudden she didn't like sleeping in crate anymore. All these started 2 weeks ago, now what I can do is letting her sleep somewhere near my bedroom, but it didn't help much. There are a lot of good suggestions here, maybe you can try one of these http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...zle-sugar.html |

| how old is she? Give her a little area in the house so she can just walk around. She will make her own self tired and go to sleep on her own. Another thing before bed time make her tired like taking her for a long walk before bed. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I always tell everyone to get sleep before you get a new puppy because for the next couple of months, it's going to be difficult. I kept Joey in a little zippered crate by my bed, and when he'd cry I'd set him on the pee pad, and place him back in the crate. He usually was upset with this, and since the crate had a zipper, I could stick my hand in and pet him to sleep. We also had a music box teddy bear that helped. As soon as he was able to hold it a few hours, I put him in bed with us, and kept a pee pad on a chest at the foot of the bed. Some people say that the toy that has the sound of a mother's heart beat helps. There are different kinds, here's one type. Petstages Products with Purpose - Petstages Heartbeat Pillow

| I wasn't get any sleep for the first month w/ Jackson, he would always wake up at least twice in his crate. So I let him sleep in my bed... he slept through the entire night until 8am. Nevertheless, he stayed in my bed since!

| If you have taken her out to use the potty and know she dosent have to go potty it is best to leave her in the crate and try to ignore her even though its hard. If you keep taking her out for things other then pottying she will never stop because she knows you will take her out.

| I have never had this problem because I always let my puppies sleep with me. When they start to move around or whin, then I know they need to go out. After they do thier business, it is right back to bed and back to sleep. I know they are spoiled, but then at least they don't keep me awake. |

| Same thing with Pasquale...One night we fell asleep by mistake with him in our bed and realized it was the BEST night's sleep we've gotten since we got him. SO needless to say..he stayed in our bed!
