YorkieTalk Newbie! | Balcony and Fence safety For the littlest ones who can get out of fences or are in danger on the balcony like mine, you might want to try the stuffed pillow collars, Puppy Bumpers. They just make them fat enough not to fit through the rails. They work great and they come in really cute colors - and my pups don't mind them at all! |

| For our deck, we got a roll of plastic fencing from Lowe's. You attach it to the fencing and cut, with scissors. Very quick and easy. That way you don't have to remember to put anything on your dog for safety. I don't have to worry if Prince runs out as soon as the door is open.

| Yep we put up the plastic fencing too.I agree,we have french doors that lead out to our deck(it has the spindles backed with the fencing) then down to a fenced in yard. They are much safer.

| We lived in a apartment previously and I hardly ever took my pups out on the balcony because it sure was a scary thought of them falling. Thanks for the suggestion. |
