| Is Your Yorkie a Scammer? Sydney will do her number on her wee wee pads and get a treat. Fifteen minutes later, she's back on the pads squatting, then wagging her tail for a treat. On the pad are a couple of drops. Fifteen minutes later, she comes running up to me as if saying, "Mommy, Mommy, look what I did. I get a treat for it." Again, a couple of drops on the pads. What a little scammer. She doesn't do this all of the time. Only when she's hungry for treats. |

| My little Yorkie does this outside. May squat two or three times on a breif outing, running back each time for a treat of green bell pepper. |

| LOL mine does that too; but i dont think they are looking for a treat; i think they are looking for a smile and encouraging words; i just pet mine and i tell her good girl; as for treat i give her apple slice or carrot.

| I would just praise him sometimes instead of giving treats everytime he uses the peepee pads. |

| Hehe I've got a scammer on my hands too. I swear they are too smart for their own good! We started doing the bell training, and Jimi picked up on ringing the bell to go outside instantly. At first I was so thrilled. But now, he just rings the bell all of the time.. we still take him out because we think he has to go, but once he gets outside he spends about 3 seconds on the lawn then goes right back up to the door to go back inside. And of course, once we get in the house he expects a treat. It is kind of funny now but when it starts getting really cold I think it will get old really quickly when I have to bundle up for nothing! By the way Sydney is quite a cutie.

| Bailey does this sometimes too, he will look at me to make sure I am watching, then he will step on his pee pad, lift his leg quickly..nothing comes out because he just peed two minutes previously, and then walk over to me expecting a treat! It makes me laugh!

| I'm glad that Syd isn't the only one. It makes you wonder if perhaps they visit a website called humantalk.com or something. |
