Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome!! She is so tiny. Since she is so young and so tiny please makes sure you read up on hypoglycemia and know what to do. It's also good to have a 24 hour vets number on hand. Also what I do with mine is use ramps and only allow them up on furniture or beds when they know how to get down using the ramps. These little ones can break legs so easily. I can't wait to see pictures and I love her name.

| WELCOME TO YT. I can read your excitement! Just a word of caution, be careful referring to Pebbles as a "teacup" as the term is highly disputed on this site and a very small yorkie is more commonly referred to here as a tiny yorkie. Technically speaking there is only one breed of Yorkshire Terrier. Do a search on this site for comments regarding the use of the word "teacup" and you will see what I mean. That being said I'm sure you will enjoy your puppy and all the information you can find on this site. Please post pictures of your little Peebles!!!

| Congrats on your baby, how old is she? That is really really tiny mine were like 1lb 2 oz when I got them and they are so fragile. I would not leave your baby and older dog unattended at all for quite some time. We have a 5 yr old Bichon who is like an old motherly hen would never hurt our baby for nothing....but he will start running if the door bell rings or whatever and has knocked her over more than once, and has jumped off the couch and almost stepped on her with us right there....it is very scary how easily they can get hurt totally on accident.

| Congrats! She is way too small for you to be bringing home. The breeder should be keeping her untill she gets bigger. I have an 8 ounce kitten right now and its only learning now how to eat right. There is no way I would send it to its new home. Please have nutrical and keep in close contact with your vet

I hold all my pups until 12 weeks of age and 2 pounds and if they don't reach 2 pounds by that age, they are held longer.
