| Well my babies have done great with my children. I have a daughter that is almost 9 and a son that is almost 5 and have had no problems. I just think it is very important to teach them from a very early age how to treat animals and if you do, they can be great together.

| You'll love a bigger yorkie with children. My 11 lb yorkie is great with them and can rough and tumble with them. My 6 1/2 lb yorkie could do without children they make her nervous

| My Jackson is a little over 12 pounds and he does well with kids, especially the ones he knows and loves. He allows a 2yr old girl to do whatever to him and he could care less. Also my little young brother, he is in love with. Rambunctious wild kids that he does not know do make him nervous but he tolerates them well.

| Motley is 5 pounds and was only 2 pounds when I got him. My kids were 8, 10 & 12. When I brought him home I just constantly preached be gentle be careful and everything went fine. Motley absolutely loves my son(the youngest). His favorite thing is to run all around the house trying to catch Chase. When it comes to other kids Motley does not seem to like them not sure why but he will get aggressive and snap at them. As far as being with my children though he loves them all very much and will take turns sleeping in their beds. Last edited by lechy02; 10-31-2009 at 06:32 PM. |

| My Kids do great with Brooklynn, she is only 13 weeks old. My kids are 12 and 5, and they both love to lay in the floor and let her climb on them, and they love to chase her around the kitchen.
