| Hmmm - I'm not sure if I believe it, either. Certainly part-yorkie, I'd say, but there seems to be a strong hint of somethiing else there, too. You've come to the right place to ask, though - there are tons of experienced people on here who can advise.

| I don't know if your baby is full blodded (looks doubtful) BUT he is adorable! What's his name. My DH's uncle has a dog that looks very much like him abd everytime we go to visit, I want to take her home with me. She is just soo soo cute & loveable! Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | He is adorable, but I'd guess he's got some Pomeranian in him too. Just as lovable as a purebred I'm sure!

| Once you have your prooof, I suggest you re-visit the place you purchased him and demand a full or partial refund. If that doesn't work, take them to court. People need to stop doing this. I'm mad as hell at Arky Barky in Jacksonville, Arkansas, as they sold me Mika as a Small yorkie that would stay small, and she is knocking on the door of 11 pounds.

| Hi...well the face is a Yorkie..but with the colouring I too am thinking Cairn Terrier as well... Were you sold it as a thoroughbred Yorkie...and did you get papers to say that he etc.? Is he registered as pure Yorkie.? He does look lovely though..but if you can get proof..then you should take it further. There are too many crosses now..and its o unfair to say its all Yorkie if it is not...i.e. you probably paid for a Yorkie as well.. Chris..x

But like I said... I'm a new Yorkie mommy, so maybe I'm missing something here. I'd love to hear more about how breeders can claim to know what size an puppy will end up being as an adult, especially since the Yorkie breed was originally sooo much larger and this is expressed in some Yorkies even today. Any info. would be appreciated-- thanks! | |
