| I don't understand. Bailey just lost a tooth! Bailey was neutered 3 weeks ago at just over 25 weeks. I was told that there were no baby teeth to be extracted but, I just tried brushing Bailey's teeth with gauze and saw blood on the gauze, and a back tooth! I don't understand why the dentist said there were no baby teeth to extract!

| Can someone answer this? At 25 weeks the vet told me there were no baby teeth to extract, now at 30 weeks Bailey is still losing teeth, another came out last night when I was brushing them I am worried now that his mouth is filled with retain teeth, I am clueless, I can't tell by just looking! I am so upset with the vet, I will probably have to take him back, he will need anesthesia again and cost so much $$$..so unnecessary when he should have had them pulled with his neuter! How can you tell how many baby teeth are in there, I have to fight with Bailey to get a look I'm just so ticked off at the vet.

| Im sorry, I do not have an answer to your questions. I do know that I thought Ben was done losing teeth when he was 1 1/2 years old, and then like a month ago I found him chewing on something and it was a one of his teeth. So Im not sure, Im sure it varies from pup to pup. Hopefully someone should be able to help you though.

| Maybe he just meant that there weren't any that NEEDED to be pulled because the adult teeth were coming in great and would most likely push the baby tooth out with no problem? |

| They normally only pull double teeth. Any baby teeth that are normal with no double they usually let fall out on their own. From what I have experienced most double teeth happen in the front of the mouth. When Laya was a baby they pulled her double canines but all of the other teeth fell out on their own when the permanent teeth came in.

| Stormy lost two teeth at almost 2 years old. She was going to get them pulled and few weeks before they were just gone. I think Lola will need to have two pulled. I am probably a little dumb but I can't tell really It looks like double canine teeth but Im not sure |

| Well, I think that it depends on your pup but I know my adult dog still had baby teeth at 6 months and so does my puppy who is only 24 weeks right now. But I also want to add that my Zoe's teeth all fell out fine and I'm hoping I will be just as lucky with my puppy. |
