Donating Yorkie Yakker | Just so sick of this I'm so sick of my neighbors letting their German Sheppard come do #2 in our yard!! They let this dog out without a leash- have since they got him_ and he does his stuff everywhere but in his own yard. My husband has said something to the husband. His reply was "just let me know- I'll clean it up" Yea right. We're going to run over there and tell them every day. We used to toss it over their way with a shovel, but I've begun putting it in one of my dog's poopy bags and tossing it across the street. today it was tossed back over here. Well- I took it back over and rang the doorbell. No one answered- eventhough the screen door was open so I know they were home. I left it on their doorstep(the bag). Next thing I know- my son answers the door and she is there. I just shut the door. I wasn't going to let her holler at me for it--they are in the wrong, not us. (Years ago- our mailbox was vandalized and I saw one of her sons in the group. I called her to talk about it and she came over here-my husband let her mouth off at him for about 15 minutes. I told him I would have just shut the door).I don't know what else to do. The husband is one of our county trustees. I'd love to let everyone know what they do. Anyone have any suggestions? |

| Put the poop in a brown paper bag and put it on their porch, light the bag on fire and knock, then run like crazy!! Hahaha jk I dont have any advice for you, sorry. If it were me I would just ask them not to allow their dog to do that. Or do what my DH would do pick the poop up and throw it over in their yard! We live in a condo and downstaris, well our up stairs neighbor would just sweep the poo off and it would fall on our patio! Well DH isnt one to mess with and he started to put the poop in a little bag and throw it back up there lol.. they stopped in about a couple days!

| Do you have leash laws? I would keep picking it up and putting it on their porch. They are the ones in the wrong

| If they don't care about their dog any more than that ...... call animal control or the police. Is there an ordinance in your county?

| Wow!! That's awful!! Nothing urks me more than people that don't pick up after their dogs!! The big dogs are even worst.....I mean they watch their dog poop(enough to fill your shovel, no doubt)and just walk away from it! I can only imagine how you feel with them letting the dog relieve itself in your yard! I would do the same as you done!! Makes me wonder what the home is like inside ??!! Good Luck with the disrespectful neighbours!!

| Where I live, a tennis court isn't far from me and it's fenced in all around....so, us people that have the small babies go in the court when it's not being used and take the leashes off the dogs and let them run!! They loved it till someone brought their dog in there and let him go three times and they just left it....it was like heaps of the stuff !!! UGH!!!Some people!!

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | If it were me, I wouldn't even put it in a bag before putting it on their porch. That would make them have to do something about it before they could even bring it back to you. And if they do, bring it back and light it on fire!!! I really hate it when that happens here. I didn't have to get to the burning part, but they did get the message after I called Animal Control to report the dog off of a leash.

| UGH! People are just so rude! I would say that if you have a local ordinance regarding a leash law, contact the police department and/or animal control. Let them know that not only does the dog do his business in your yard, but that you are in fear of the safety of yourself and your small dog. Worst that can happen is that they are issued a citation and have to pay a fine. But, if they have to put out money, that might stop them from letting their dog into your yard. Good luck and keep us posted. |

| I would wait patiently with my camera and when that dog squatted on the lawn snap the picture then send it to your local paper with your story! I would have no problem doing this if they did not cooperate any other way. Shame on them! |

| I agree with the previous posts. Most cities have ordinances that include leash laws and animal waste. Look into it. You can call animal control but unfortunately they can't do much about it unless you have proof. I had a similar situation happen to me and animal control advised me to get a picture of the dog doing the deed so that the owners can be fined. Of course that would mean sitting at the window all day long, so I didn't bother. Otherwise, animal control did go to their house but only gave them a warning. Maybe a warning would be all your neighbors need to get the dog to stop. I hope you can get this resolved...How annoying!

No Longer a Member | When It is in your yard catch it, call the animal control to come pick it up and tell them that it is not your dog. OR you could catch it everytime it comes to your yard and tie it up with the poo bag tied to its collar. LOL then call them and say your dog is here again. hehehe |

Yep, I would call about thirty minutes early from the time they normally let him out and say there is a strange dog roaming in my yard. That way animal control can pick his nasty butt up. Sorry but it's not his fault totally, but he is now nasty just like his nasty owners, because they have allowed this nasty behavior to become a nasty habit | |

| I agree find some way to lure the dog into your garage and call the dog warden. Maybe leave a bowl of food by the garage door and push the door closed when he enters. Maybe they will learn after paying a few fines. |

| I say do like Jim Carrey in Me Myself and Irene. Next time the dog poops in your yard, have DH go poop in theirs!
