| Let them eat cake How do you celebrate your yorkiebaby(s) birthdays? We have well over a month till party time but I am a planner!!!!!!! Also my Austin needs a cake, for those of you who had cakes did you make them yourself or did you find a local bakery that did it for you? I found a site on line that makes them and ships them to you. But I am not sure about that. Thanks for help -Jordan |

| I would make a ground meat (meatloaf minus seasoning) cake or ground chicken using egg to hold it together. You could even ice it with yogurt.

| I got both of mine a cake at Wal-Mart. They have a cake made with small cupcakes and it's iced to look like a Yorkie. I got the vanilla cupcakes and white icing. I gave them just a small taste of the icing and a small bite of cupcake. Then they got their birthday presents and were distracted enough I could take the cake away. The cake was cute, I could not let their birthdays go by without a cake. I know they should not have sweets but I don't think the teeny bite they had hurt them. I spend too much money at the vet to give them anything that is going to make them sick.

| I go with 3 Dog bakery cakes too, and if there is not one in your town, the closest one will ship to you.

| I made Sam's for his first birthday and will be making his again for his 3rd birthday. New recipe, if you want it just PM me w/your email. I too thought about shipping bc they are professional looking with the fondant type frosting but shipping is sooooooooooooo expensive!

| OHH thank you for the ideas YT members.... I have a few more weeks left but I needed to get ideas running in the head now. We all know how fast the next few weeks go. The "bake him a cake" ideas were great but I'll be very honest..... even for the love of my baby I am not sure I am ready to try to cook him anything other than the minute rice we both love. Cause even the rice has days we have to start over. But I can foresee that my DH is going to have a conniption when he learns I am throwing a party for a puppy. |
