| What kind of personality does your Yorkie have? I searched to see if anyone asked this and nothing turned up. Unless I worded it wrong and it's been asked before. Well I'll go first. As you all know I have four each different and each unique. No two are the same even though my two girls are sisters and complete opposites. Duchess my hubbys girl! Which is odd b/c he has never fed her or spent as much time as I do grooming and caring for her. But she loves him the most and spends the most time with him. If she's spending time with daddy and one of the others trys to get daddy's attention she snaps at them to back off. She is the BOSS! She is very independant. She will cuddle and get lovin' and attention when she wants it! She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed where she can have her space. Or she will take over hubby's pillow. She's the house and vet office cheer leader! Always happy to meet and greet new people. She loves to swim and will jump in the lake or follow you in the water. She loves to fish and will help her daddy bring in his catch. She also has a foot fetish loves licking toes and feet. Doesn't matter if she knows you or not! Contessa is my baby. Very submissive and will roll over on her back so you can rub her belly while you try to put on her harness to go for a walk. She is a very family girl. She loves everyone and has no favorite. She will cuddle with who ever will have her. So she usually ends up with Mikey. We say she belongs to Mikey b/c he's the one who spends the most time holding her. She's Duchess sister and so different. She will swim only to cool off. She likes to feel body warmth and lay right next to you in bed. She's yappy and likes to yap when we wake up in the morning all the way down the stairs to go potty. Shell yap at you if you're holding Duchess or Autumn b/c she wants to be held. Sebastian my man! He's so clingy! My hubbys family calls him chicklet b/c he sticks to me like gum to my shoe! He's so concerned with me that my hubby has to be the one watching them mate. If I'm around he wants me and will cry and whine till I get him. He watches my every move. If I get up in the morning and start to get dressed he runs circles around me whining and scratching at my ankles so I can take him with me. I usually lounge about in pj's so he doesn't get as excited b/c he knows I'm not going anywhere. Once I start changing OMG! He's a mess! LOL! He goes everywhere with me! He's very prissy and doesn't like to get his feet dirty. He uses the sidewalk and doesn't like to run through our neighbors yards. He's the most spoiled of them all! He cries for me if I leave him behind. As my hubby has said he just won't shut up no matter what you say or do. I just tell him oh he loves his mummy! Autumn is a mix of Sebastian and Contessa's personalities. She's clingy and submissive. She follows me everywhere and cries b/c she wants to be picked up and put on the sofa so she can sit by me. She likes to cuddle and sleep in the crick of my neck in bed. When I call her to go outside she crawls sideways kicking one of her legs waging and squirming her way to me. So cute! She takes turns with her daddy going places with me. |

| what kind of personality does your Yorkie have My Tucker seems to be a combination of all of the above. He is spoiled rotten----the only child. He spends the night going between my husband and me'. He sleeps right beside me for awhile. Then he moves over to sleep beside my husband. He's full of mischief, and sometimes has a bit of a temper. He hates to be combed. If I encounter a matt, he will bite the comb. I can't tell which of us he prefers. He's my dog. He was a Christmas present last year. I keep reminding my husband that he was a gift to me. I'm very happy that he loves him too. I had to beg to get him. Tucker's Mom |

| We didn't get Kona until she was 7 years old so I don't know what she was like as a puppy. She is a little love bug though. She likes to sit right next to me when we are watching TV at night and she follows me everywhere! She just loves when DH comes home from work. If she can see him coming up the drive she starts to get so excited. After he turns off the vehicle and gets out I will let her out and she just runs to him (HE gets disappointed if the weather is bad and I won't let her go down the stairs so she can greet him!) She only barks when someone rings the doorbell and then only until I tell her she did a good job protecting us. We couldn't have asked for a better little girl! |

| Our Sophie is a sweetheart. She is independent at times and submissive at times. She is generally happy go lucky. She loves to play and loves the water. She'll change from tomboy to a princess in a flash. Sophie is good in her bath but doesn't care for the blowdryer or being combed (she tries to stand on her head) . The groomer says she's great on her table and holds very still. Go figure. She loves to chase the birds and squirrels in our yard and has even climbed three or four feet up a tree to chase them. She knows all her toys by name and will bring which ever one you ask for. She's VERY playful. Sophie loves to lay on our laps in the evenings and chew her nylabones. She is with me all day playing and cuddling so when my husband comes home from work she's his for the evening. She kisses him goodbye every morning and knows what time he'll be home. As soon as he comes home he takes her out to play for about an hour before dinner. The rest of the night she's with him cuddled up somewhere. She sleeps between us and licks his face in the mornings to outside. Sophie is a real smoocher, too! She is our little girl and enjoys her role .

| I got Buster as a present when he was a baby. He will be two in December and is very much a mama's boy. If I am doing something around the house and can't hold him, he will position himself so that he can watch every move I make. When I am getting ready for work, he will lay on the bed, snuggled in the covers so that only his eyes show, watching me the whole time. He could spend his days sitting in my lap. At night he gets as close to me as he can get, if I change positions, he will too. He is a very picky eater, except for the few things he really likes. Buster is not afraid of other dogs, big or little. He has gotten a bit tempermental since we got Maggie. He did not bark until we got Maggie. He is a very "serious" little guy. I got Maggie last year. She was one in September. She is soooo playful, full of mischief!!! She is always biting on Buster and taking his toys. She likes to sit in your lap sometimes, but she prefers laying on top of the couch where she can see everybody and everything. She loves to sit in the side window by the door and will always let me know when something is going on outside. Maggie is not a picky eater. Put her food down and she is going to eat. Watch out!! Maggie does not care for other dogs. She does bark and growl at them from the car or from the window, safe inside but when she is out for her walk, she wants to be picked up. Two totally different babies. I don't know what I would do without them.

| Da Vinci is like a kitty. He likes to do things on his own. He doesn't like sitting next to me, but follows me everywhere. He'll go crazy if I leave him with my roommates. When we go on walks, he runs up the flight of stairs and sits at the top and waits for me to get to where he is. He doesn't bark unless he's alone in the room. He loves chasing his roommate, a chihuahua. He knows when I'm upset and runs in his crate if thats the case. |

| My Abby is 7 months old, and she seems so odd to me, I'm used to my dogs wanting to be with me all the time, its just not so with Abby, she loves to be on my bed and will go there and be all alone for hours, she refuses to come when called unless there is an acceptable treat involved, then she will sit, come, lay.... but if no treat, no listen! I have to say shes one of the easiest puppy's I've ever had, she loves her toys, but doesnt get into other things or chew up anything shes not supposed too, I'm trying to get her to be potty trained outside, but in the house on her wee pads she never has an accident, even when she was 10 weeks old! she even comes to tell me when shes had a poo, she likes me to clean it up right away. Shes very friendly and happy, but make no effort to come to me for attention, but if I get her and hold her she will stay with me and not try and get away. My family thinks shes autistic, if there such a thing in dogs? Well anyways, I can't help but love her, shes sweet and a total cutie!

YT 500 Club Member | Alfie likes to think he's a real tough boy, but he's not. If anyone goes past the window he has to bark, he loves his food, but can be picky at times. He's toy obsessive to the point of stealing them, but only so he can destroy them and he loves Rosie to chase him, but when he chases her if he cant catch her [ most the time] he starts by whining but ends up screaming. On a walk he's not adventurouse. He'll run in front but will always look behind every few minutes to check I'm still there and hates getting his feet dirty or anything stuck to his coat. Rosie is a real sweety inside the house. She's very quiet omly rarely barking. She loves to snuggle next to you and is a proper little girl who loves everyone and cant understand why everyone wouldn't love her to bits. On walks though she's the one running through muddy puddles, wants to go diving into the water to chase birds, lags behind because she cant tare herself away from a really intresting smell and wants to go say hello to everone and everything. |

| My first yorkie is a boy and he is mommy's baby. He clings to me everywhere I go. He will keep his eyes on my all day long. If mommy has to go potty then he has to do the same. He has to sit on my lap when i am sitting or I have to hold him in my arms when I am walking around. Needless to say I don't get alot done because of him.lol. If I have to leave him with my DH at home (I'm never gone long, anyways) my hubby says he will cry the whole time and he will sit on the back of our couch and watch for me out the window. I take him to play with other yorkies and he could care less, he just wants mommy to pick him up and hold him. I call him my Love Bug. He is such a cuddler. When I take a shower he has to be right there watching me and if I don't let him he will cry and cry and scratch the door until I do.lol. Oh, and he is very submisive, when I take him for a walk and another dog comes up on him he automatically will lay on his back so they can smell him.lol. I could go on and on about him.lol Then I have his half sister and she is totally opposite. She is a bully. When she sees her brother playing with a toy, she will go over there a take it from him and go and put it whereever she is at. Her brother will go over there and she will put it in her mouth and growl daring him to take it. And he will look at me or hubby and start crying, like please mommy give that back to me. She is only 2 pounds while my male is almost 9 pounds. But she puts him in his place. She is the boss of everything!!!!! She is a licker. She loves to lick your face. Anybody she sees she will just go nuts and just lick them like crazy. While her brother is very leary of people. She is very vocal and outgoing. She will bark and growl while her brother hardly ever growls or bark. Ok, enough, I know tooooo long. I just love them sooooo much, and love to talk about them both. |

| JD is my third Yorkie, they each were different in some ways but all followed me where ever I'd go. None of my Yorkie's have been barkers, only if loud noise, someone rings doorbell.. All mine were picky eaters, two loved to play with toys, JD wants nothing to do with them, and only found one treat for JD in 10 years he'd eat!! He is a professional poser for his picture, I sit him a certain way he stays there, have had fun making calendars at Christmas of him. His face is always at the window when I come home from work. He is a hunter of chipmunks, squirrels, would like to chase the deer but not allowed. He stance is a true hunter, amazing to watch this little 5 pd. dog go thru in paces. Yorkie's are the best, what can I say!!
