| Did your Halloween party turn out as planned? The Halloween party at PetSmart didn't turn out so well. My little ones hated it PetSmart had a huge line for taking the pictures and they ran out of goodies bags and picture frames. But the worst part was that there were not so friendly, bigger dogs trying to get at my babies. Nini and Nicky were horrified, they would not go on the floor and wanted to be held high above my head. Nini kept trying to climb me as if I were a tree I couldn't figure out if it was because they weren't used to seeing other pups and people in costumes or if because it was so crowded, or if they were afraid to 'get jumped' by the unfriendly-larger dogs, or what. It all started badly. I had planned two costumes for each baby: one for the party at PetSmart and the other for greeting the trick-or-treat children at home on the 31st. The costumes didn't arrive Luckily, I'm a plan 'B' believer and got spares. But, Nini gained a bit in the couple of weeks since I bought her school girl outfit and so it was tight on her. And Nicky's superman one was too big. It was a fiasco Hopefully, the costumes will arrive on time and we'll have a better day on Halloween Day |

| I'm sorry your Halloween party didn't turn out so well. My babies had a great time and did very well.. They were the Louisiana Gumbo, I had them in a big bucket which I put in a Petsmart cart so they wouldn't be scared and because there are 4 of them it was alot easier to manage. The only time I took them out of the cart was for their picture. The Lobster and the Alligator were the only ones to jump out of the pot. All in all they did have a great time and we are planning to go to PetCo on Sat. and a Halloween Parade on Sunday.

| So sad I'm going to try LuluMaye's idea. Putting them in the cart would make them feel safer, I hope. And they get to go out and about, which they love |

| We went to PetSmart for Halloween pictures and it was an "ok" experience. Any time we go into petsmart, I ALWAYS put the babies in a cart (I put a blanket down first for them). Especially with having 3 now (and Ginger still with her stitches in) I am not going to chance anything. There were several large dogs there as well (which I love and we took our black lab, too) but there were one or two that weren't so friendly and were growling. I think the cart made them feel very safe. My babies had a blast, me however, it was so so. It was not very organized at ALL and we had to wait in line well over an hour and fifteen mins (and there were only like 6-7 people in front of us... and our picture is cute but not what I was expecting. We weren't even a part of the judging b/c of the poor organization which kind of upset me but at that point, I really did not care and I just wanted to make the best of the situation... so as soon as we finished our picture we shopped a little bit and each baby got to pick out a toy. So the family night out ended on a good note.
