| Is 11 weeks old a good time to pick up puppy? Hi there. Chole is now 9 weeks old but I am waiting until she is 11 weeks old to bring her home. The breeder said she is ready anytime but is leaving up to me. He never lets any of his dogs go before 8 weeks and that is only dependent upon how they are progressing. so am I smart to wait to 11 wks? |

| The longer they stay with their moms ... the less work you will have to do in the long run. Mom teaches them manners and who to respect...She helps with toliet training also.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Don't pay so much attention to the age....pay attention to her weight. I would hesitate to bring home any puppy who weighed less than 2 pounds.

| Apple was 11 1/2 weeks old and 2 lbs. on the button...As anxious as you are, I'd wait 'till she was 11 or 12 weeks old, because of all the reasons you've already read...She is soooooooo cute...Congrats congrats congrats |

| Aw! So cute! Congratulations! I want another puppy now... And also, I think 11 weeks will be okay to bring her home.
