| How old is your furbaby? Some people think their Yorkie is going bald when they are blowing their puppy coat and it goes from that thick puppy fur to the more refined, thinner adult coat. The hair also lightens at the roots and it can appear to be thinning...some lighten so much they do look like they are going bald. If that is not the case with your furbaby then I would definitely see your vet. There are some health issues that can cause these symptoms. Good luck, I hope everything is o.k. |

| Like someone else mentioned, I remember when the lighter adult coat started coming in. I thought my pup was going "bald" also. Could it simply be the lighter color making you think that?

| Yorkie puppies can start to blow their puppy coat very young but it seems to me I remember my boys starting at about 4 months and it stopped at 10 months to a year. So, it kind of follows their teething time. |

| My kids kept saying Kimbo was "going bald" when his head started turning silver.
