| Ok...how many Chewy's are there? Is this like the most common name for a Yorkie post 1976 or what? I've come across so many threads with other people talking about Chewy that I now want to know: How many of you here have a Yorkie named Chewy? What are the other common names that Yorkies get? |

| I'm Chewy and yes, it was my husband's idea. Mine is probably the most prevalent Chewy on this board, but do know there are a couple out there... Last edited by chewysmom; 09-29-2005 at 03:52 PM. |

| I think its definately the hair or at least in this house it is. Mine isn't named Chewy but my husband calls her that all the time and not only that but he will look at her and make the noise like Chewy (because I don't know how to spell it either) makes in the movie. He's not even a big fan of Star Wars. He used to call her Oscar, like the Grouch, b/c of the hair too but not so much anymore.

| If my son had is way Gus would be a Chewy. My Husband wanted Max. The girls wanted Teddy, And I came up with the name Augustus,,, Gus Gus for short,, He totally reminded my of the fat little mouse on Cindrella. We did the picking out of the hat thing and Augustus it was!

| I think Chewy is really cute for a name. There are a LOT of Bentley's (I believe 5 or more), as well as at least 3 Yoda's, and I believe there are quite a few Gizmo's too. |
