| Introducing another dog into our family My lil Toby just turned 1 yr old last weekend, and we have decided to add another addition to our family. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to go about introducing them and getting them used to each other. Toby is used to having the whole house to himself and he is spoiled rotten, but he plays very well with other dogs, so im not worried about him takin to the dog a whole lot, just mainly , do you think he will get territorial and start marking or anything? The other dog we are getting is a male Morkie or Yorktese as some people call them. he is so sweet. Any advice would help , thanks The first 2 pictures are of our newest addition ( still deciding on a name, if anyone has any suggestions , this is always the hard part for me :O) The last 2 pictures are of my lil Toby, he is 1 yr old and weighs 2.6 lbs |

| He's adorable! But first off, is Toby neutered? If he is, he shouldn't mark unless he already does. I don't think it would be an issue for an altered male. I would also introduce them NOT on Toby's territory. Let them meet outside or in your backyard or somewhere else so Toby doesn't feel threatened! Then they should be just fine Congrats!

| I know! LOL. I keep telling myself "I don't need another dog!" But I *really* want a sibling for Jackson. I'm gonna try and be patient and wait for the right dog to come along.

| yes, he is neutered and i have never had any problems with him marking, and we are taking toby with us when we go pick the other one up, because its the same breeder we got toby from and they want to see him, so they will meet there. |

| Aw how cute! I didnt have any trouble out of mine but Max was neutered... the only thing he did was bark and growl at him the first day or so... then everything seemed okay. Good luck
