| typing with tears in my eyes. How cruel dog fighting is, but how wonderful that the resuers are prepared to spend time rehabilitating the dogs. I hope they have many happy years with new loving owners. |

They have been one of my favorite charities for the last decade. Even though they take in the toughest hard luck cases, it is truly amazing what they accomplish.

| I am in awe of those people who step in to help these poor animals. There are many kind hearted souls in the world and I was happy to find out Vick's former dogs were in the hands of those kind folks Jackie & my Sophie |

| I can't imagine the horror these dogs suffered, thankfully there are truly caring people in this world that try to make amends for the cruelty of others.

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | The story brings tears to my eyes. Those poor dogs. I still think that Michael Vick got away to easy. And do you really think that $18,000 is going to really take care of all those dogs and medical bills for life? I also wonder if Michael Vick has been to visit any of those dogs, I thought he cared about them.

| Dogtown was a good show on the National Geo Channel however, it was not on this fall's lineup. Anyone know what happened. They do a lot of good work for all animals, not just dogs. Also, they were the winners in the animal rescue site's spring shelter challenge. Just go to the site, first click on the rescue site home page to donate then click on the shelter challenge tab, search for your favorite shelter or rescue group by state or name and vote each day. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/c...faces?siteId=3

| Makes me sick to read about what happened to those dogs. Vick DID NOT serve enough time. before I knew it I heard he was getting out. I don't think for one second he is sorry for what he did.

The only thing he is sorry for is getting caught! I think that he should have to pay for rehabilitation and housing costs for them at Dogtown until the end of their days, or his, whichever comes first. ( ...and I can tell you which one I am wishing for!!)

| I think Vick shouldn't have been able to play pro ball anymore and have to pay for rehab and retirement for ALL these babies. Why is it okay for him to subject these poor babies to such abuse? What about ethics?? What part about kids looking up to these athlets do these guys not get? What message did he send out to our youth? Why did his fans not oust him? <eyeroll> grrrrr... I best stop now, this is such a sore spot.... UGH! this is JMHO
