| Am I bad mom? lol Capone went to doggy daycare today and he is exhausted and I won't let him sleep because I know he will be up all night if I let him sleep now. I keep picking him up and poking him. It's not working though, he barely opens his eyes and falls back to sleep. So cute. Do any of you ever do this? My mom sure did it to me when I was a kid.

| I don't think it works that way with dogs. |

| Lol, yea it's not working. He's curled up cute as can be sleeping in my lap right now. It's happened before when I took him to doggy daycare (which he really likes now, I wasn't so sure before) and I let him sleep all day when we got home, when it was time for us to go to bed he pounced around the bed and tried to entice me to chase him and play with him for a couple hours until he just gave in.

| I have done it with Sam before. I take him for a ride in the car, we play. I do anything to keep him awake because he too, will want to play when its time to go to bed!

| For sure. Moreso when Jackson was younger but if I let him sleep before bedtime, he'd be wide awake around 10pm! So I would keep him entertained and lively and awake for at least an hour before bedtime to tire him out. Now that he's older though, it doesn't really matter.
