| Buy Hallie get Simon Free!!! OK not really but my monkeys are testing my patience in a huge way! I live on the bottom floor in my aparment complex and have huge balcony doors that go out back. Apparently the squirrel population has quadrupled in the last week and they are ALL OVER!!!! I had one crawling up my screen door this morning, they are hanging from the ledge upstairs and they are driving Hallie and Simon crazy! Hallie wants to catch one (how can something so cute be so vicious?) and Simon probably just wants to play with them! I have now blocked off the window with blankets and baby gates and they are crying to see their "new friends"! Anyone live in a place with no windows? Anyone know how to get rid of squirrels? hehe |

| I have squirrels everywhere! The other day one was climing my porch railing, up to the top hanging upside down, staring in the door, I got up to see what all the noise was,, and he GLARED at me, I thought he was gonna jump on the screen door at me,, Of course, Bailey is barking and going nuts.. SO What do I do with other TROUBLEMAKERS?? I grabbed the handy-dandy squirt bottle and blasted him through the screen. He took off! So I know now, that squirrels don't like getting hit with a squirt bottle either.

| Poor Simon & Hallie!! They just want to play with the squirrels!!! It's so funny because we always say that Biddy looks like a squirrel - maybe they think the squirrels are Biddy!! They might recognize her from her pictures on YT!!! They're just trying to be friendly

| My yorkie is the same way,,,exept we don't have squirrels...we have chipmunks...and they sit out side the window and chirp at her.....one day one teased her one two many times and Zoe jumped at it and caught it and killed it within 2 seconds....I was so shocked...we always wondered what she would do with one if she ever caught one..I guess we know now...She is such a calm and quiet dog that I was amazed at what she did... |

| hey it could be worse, they could be chewing on your furniture. although I would hope they wouldn't do that. My baby is just fasinated by the outdoors. he doesn't bark at anything yet though. hmmmm...... I wonder what he might bark at if he got the chance. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | we're going thru the SAME thing with Cheri - she is climbing trees to get HER squirrel - Wish I could tell you how to stop them but I have no idea - they know their teasing the yorkie kids too - they really are doing it on purpose - MY squirrel Hangs on the Fence like he's sleeping waiting for the girls to come outside then RACES up and down the fence - I just got this (terrible) pic the other day of him laying in wait I REALLY believe this is what he was saying too |

| We have sliding doors but the are in the back of the house. the only time Gus looks out that window is when the kids have thier friends over swimming. Now the front door and the the door to get to the garage,,, now that's a different story! Gus looks like a mad mad running back and forth barking and barking and barking. I finally get tired of it and have to brind out the flip flop sandles. Mind you I never hit him with them but when I slap them together it give him a good scare. He'll still run back and forth but he'll pant and grumble insted of barking. And look back at me as if to say it's ok mom I didn't bark.

| Yorkies were orginally breed to kill rats, I think. So it makes sense to me that they would try to get any small critters and kill them. Tauni |
