| Fiona's new gross addiction!!!! hey all! well, just when I thought things couldn't go any better with Fiona, she is stealing the cats poop right out of the litter box! I caught her with a log up on the couch the other day---not eating it--sorta disecting it...so i yelled " FIONA MARIE!" and she went right to her crate....then we were good for a couple days, and then she had another little log yesterday morning! I'm not sure what else to do at this point, she is infattuated with this now! Got any ideas!?

| I have the same problem. As my cat is old (15!) we cant put up a gate to keep the dogs out, because then the cat can't jump it. Being vigilant about scooping is the only thing that works in my house. |

| I wanted to post this question as well... we have recently been having this problem. Because we live in a one bedroom apartment, it would be very difficult to gate off the bathroom (where we keep the litter box) to keep Couver out of the poop. It is such a gross habit! I love doggy kisses, but not kitty poop kisses Is there anything I can do to prevent him from eating cat poop?!?!

| This is like a chapter right out of the book of Ecclesiates....ie..."there's nothing new under the sun"...dogs have always liked cat poop, and it's always not been good for them...They go for it, because there is so much protein in it...But it's not healthy and if the cat has worms, then the dog can get worms...It's a pain in the backside, but you're just gonna have to put the litter box where the cat can get to it, but not the dog...I don't think you can stop them, once they've had a taste of cat poop lol... |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I placed a babygate at the doorway to the laundry room that houses the litter box. Felt bad for kitties who had to hurdle before reaching the potty....but it worked...the dogs forgot about kitty crunch treats and I've been able to eliminate the babygate.

| Mine do this too and it drives me NUTS! but not just that... at night they all stay in the living room with pads and things down and every morning i get up and pick up all the poo but THEN i go over to wash the blankets in the pet beds and I find their own in there... its sooo disgusting. So im always checking the beds in the morning too now.
