I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Maybe she knows you don't have any money! Seriously, was someone watching her, she sounds a little spooked. Dogs usually don't hide under the bed unless something is really wrong.

| Oh so sorry!!!! Maybe she feels somethings upsetting you so she's just trying to "give you some room". Get a few yummy treats and call her out. Then get super happy when she comes to you. Praise, praise, praise...dogs eat that up ) ((((((((Hugs)))))))) Don't they have cameras at Disney that may have seen who stole your purse? Just a thought.

| That's how Ginger did me and I was only gone for TWO hours. It took almost 2 DAYS of almost undivided attention and special treats before she "forgave me" and started giving me kisses and luvs again. Keep showing her love and attention and she will come around. (That was the good advice that other YT members told ME!) IT worked. Donna and Ginger |

| Sorry you had such a bad experience at Disney! Being robbed is a violating feeling! I know your Sugar will come around soon, just be patient and act like nothing is worng. If she senses you over-reacting about her pout, she may continue longer. Were your things stolen from your car? Your home insurance might cover the loss. I know someone who had their trunk pried open at the beach and their belongings stolen. Car insurance covered the damage to the trunk, but it was their home insurance that covered the contents.

| These little ones can sure have attitudes at times, huh? She'll come around soon...it seems they can only be standoffish for so long! Gosh, I'm sorry about your things being stolen. That sure put a damper on your trip. *HUG*

| I'm so sorry you had your money stolen. People are so mean nowadays!! Maybe Sugar was having a ball with her new found friends and now she's a little upset cause she had to come home? I knew when I was a little girl I'd always pout when i had to leave the "sleepover" early. Give that sweet baby a giant kiss for me if she ever comes out from under that bed....i think she's absolutely stinkin' adorable!!

| I usually agree with everything the YT crew says.... but in this case, you have to remember they are TERRIERS. its sort of like dealing with a grumpy teenager. My parents 50th anniversary I had to go away for the weekend, when I came back Fergus was pouting and after his initial jumping on my legs when I walked in the door (he stayed with my skinkids-all teens), he patentntly ignored me. So..... I ignored him back. No begging, no bribes. I just did my usual routine, sat in my chair in the evening (where he always sits with me) and when he sat on a pillow on the couch, I never said a word to him. He wanted me to beg....so he could say NO! So, I refused to acknowledge his behavior and within 24 hours he was right back in my face! all little tongues and cuddles. But, it was on his terms (in his mind-he never "gave in" to my pleading) and on MY terms (in my mind-I didn't beg) so we both "won" in the end and got to keep our pride. Try it....what have you got to lose? I am not saying be mean, just don't beg! be normal!
