| So. CA Event - Bark at the Park, Lancaster Hi, fellow yorkie lovers! I've been "lurking" on this board for sometime, and enjoy reading all the posts from all of you, but have never posted. My sister and I breed yorkies in Southern California, but more importantly, WE LOVE OUR YORKIES! I wanted to invite all of you Southern Californians to an all-day event this Saturday put on by the City of Lancaster.... called Bark at the Park. Last year it drew 4000 people, this year they're expecting 5000+. There will be games and contests for your dog, raffles, auctions, vendors, food, fashion show, etc. And the best part is that it's FREE. For more information, you can check out the website, www.lancasterbarkatthepark.org , although it really doesn't say much about it. While you're at it, email them at the addresses listed asking about the times for the events, etc., since I've had no luck getting it posted on there. (Maybe if enough people email, they'll do it). Some of the items to be auctioned are a big dog house, a gorgeous faux mink bed with Princess bowl, toys etc., a 3-day stay at Miracle Springs Resort in Palm Springs, a dog car seat, and lots more! While you're there, stop by our booth, show off that beloved pet, and say hello. Mention that you're from Yorkietalk for a free treat for your Yorkie Pal. And, if you're interested, take a look at our dog apparel, beds, accessories, etc. Just a thought... wouldn't it be fun if the Yorkietalkers set a time to meet, and we could take pictures? Hope to see a lot of you there! Kathy (Janet and all our Yorkie Pals) |

| Saturday He he he..... Janet and I are so excited to see you and Gus..... There will be lots of dogs there, but the yorkies are the ones that catch our eye! Of course, with Gus, we're going have to look real close! Sorry to hear about your fall. Seems a lot has been going on with you and your family. First Gus, then your mom and sister... now you. Be careful! Thanks for the welcome... See you Saturday! Kathy |

| I have to brag! I hope you don't mind Kathy. Kim, this is the breeder I got Gus from. These ladies are 2 of the sweetest ladies I have ever met! They truly love thier furbabies and I am so lucky to have found a pup form such people who take such pride in thier yorkies. I can't thank them enough for Gus!

| Oh, gee... I am blushing... Monica, you are too kind. You're the kind of person we wish all our pups could go to. I think everybody on this board can see what a devoted mama you are to Gus. The way you gush with pride over him, and how you share all the funny (and not so funny) things he does makes us proud too, kind of like a Grandparent. Kim, we will be in Booth 24 at the Bark at the Park. We have a sign that says Bark Boutique, and will have smaller signs that say Yorkie Pals. Please stop and introduce yourself, and your yorkie. I can give you a business card at that time. I don't really want to use this board to "market" our dogs, we can talk then or you can also email me at yorkiepals@yahoo.com . I hope to see you there! Sara, I would love to attend the fashion show. I wish there wasn't a conflict with the day. I also heard there is something going on in Santa Clarita on Sunday. Don't have any details, though. | Modesto is quite a bit north of Lancaster. According to Mapquest, it's 4 hours, 45 minutes. Probably too far for you to make it. : ( |
