| Please... Pray that I am a good girl tomorrow!!! I am going to a benefit for dog rescue... I have 4 dogs... 3 yorkies and an english bulldog... My head knows I need no more but my heart says one more (especially a rescue) wouldn't hurt anything! I am going because I am donating $ and have been asked to attend... Not to mention, they are having a dog show for rescues or adopted doggies and thought about entering my Basil but then I found out they have to sit, stay, and roll over... That counts her out LOL This big ole heart of mine would like to rescue every dog out there but my hubby says no

| I know you want to save them all! But maybe there is another way that you can help and not have to give up your hubby! Maybe you could volunteer at a shelter or would your husband be open to fostering or if not, I'm sure there are a million other ways you could help without taking another pup in. But I think it's nice you want to and I feel your pain. I'd be saving them all too and my hubby is also the one saying, no more! |

| Maybe you can Volunteer with the Humane Society,SPCA or an Animal shelter. I dont like the way NC and SC euthanize. Maybe you can make a difference and help put a stop to this practice..Good Luck to you....Lissette |

| I feel your heartache as I'd love to save them all too. The event sounds like it's going to be tons of fun. So enjoy the celebration for the difference that you are making with your donation, as every penny helps. Be sure and let us know if you have a new family member coming home soon And if you take any photos, please share. I'd so love to be there as it sounds like so much fun.

| wish I could go I would love to be there too,it sounds like so much fun,but I am sure I would be looking for a furbaby. I do donate to our mspca with not only $,but blankets, food crates and in any way I can help. It is so sad to visit them places, ther are a lot of pitbulls. Why do people get Pitbulls and dump them into shelters.I don't get it. |

| OK you will be proud of me!!! My family and I went and took Basil, Teddy Thy and Brewster (english bulldog) and come home with only my 3 The event had 2 yorkies up for adoption a boy 7 yrs old with some form of hair issues and so skinny his sides sunk in but very beautiful nonetheless! The other was a girl 2 yrs old but her coloring was not that of a yorkie as her whole body was gold in color and had a very long snout (very beautiful but if someone didn't know the breed, they would not think "yorkie" at first glance). After my "speech" I headed straight to the yorkies and started my promoting LOL I did get the boy adopted to a very sweet and loving family! I told the couple and their teen daughter to be sure and feed him good to get a little weight on him! I also educated them on the breed. Sadly, the girl was still there when I left It was very hard to leave her but, I do have 4 and I know their well-being and care is very important/expensive and the more dogs I get the less money I have to go around so I just tried to get others to take home dogs instead LOL. I took tonsssssssss of pictures and since it was daylight, I did not use my flash... All the pictures are too dark to post I am so upset with myself! I will post a picture of Brewster and Basil (when she first come home) in her album here so you can see him. He is very beautiful and our 3 seemed to be the hit of he event (which made me very proud). They all had their Halloween costumes on. We could barely walk 2 steps before someone was asking for another picture. Especially TT as Elvis and Brewster because of his massive size! Thanks for all the support! I do NOT like the fact NC has kill shelters that is for sure! It breaks my heart. My son and I have decided to attend adoption fairs on weekends to help re-home these beautiful babies! OK OK OK enough rambling LOL I am off to post a pic of Basil w/ Brewster... He weighs 70 lbs by the way and is on a diet!
