♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Has anyone tried a mobile groomer? Tia is starting to look a little scruffy and theres no way I'm leaving her with a groomer and picking her up a couple of hours later. Anyways I researched it and there are mobile groomers in my area and they do the grooming in the van outside of your home and you are allowed to watch ,anyone tried this?

| Has anyone tried a mobile groomer? That's all I use for Tucker. I use her because she's excellent, and for the same reason you're considering one. It's a one on one situation. Your dog is the only one worked on when she is at your home. Tucker has her full attention, and is never put in a cage. They can be more expensive, but it's worth it. Tucker's Mom |

| I haven't tried the Mobile Unit, but my groomer does have one. Certain days they do the mobile, and other days they are at the shop. So I know what I would get with mine.

| I tried a mobile groomer a few times and she just was not that great. But Callie has never been left alone ever and after her first groom of leaving her for hours we learned she did not do good with that and neither did I so i talked to some groomers at other places and most of them have the express service and thats what we get Callie is never left alone and caged so she is done in 45 minutes and normaly does ok.

| I tryed it once, she was very good and i liked the fact that she did each baby one on one right here at the house, It was pretty expensive, though i dont mind paying for good work Ive since found another groomer whom i really connected with and has alot of yorkie experience

| I've never for Jackson (they were all too expensive around here) but my mom and uncle have used mobile groomers for their dogs (a cockapoo and a Siberian Husky) and they did the best work!

| Rockie is two years old and our groomer started coming to my home when Rockie was four months old. l called him two months ago for a grooming and he told me he stopped doing cottony coated dogs l was so upset and really couldn't believe it...l even offered to pay him more money he said he was stopping all his clients with cottony hair. He said it took too long during their coats l'm presently with a very small business who is excellant.

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | Thanks guys , the one I looked at has excellent reviews but no prices so I will give them a ring on Monday. I figure that even if I get her groomed every 3 months it will be better than nothing right.

| I use a mobile groomer. I have had her out 3 times-once for my 2 goldens and 2x for my yorkies. It is a bit more expensive but for me sooooo much less stressful because I am not leaving them somewhere and picking them up hours later. Less stressful for them because they are not there for hours and done so much faster. All of my dogs seem to love her and she does a great job and listens to me. It is so worth it!!! I would definitely give it a try!

I take Jackson to a place where he stays for 2-3 hours max and it's about $50 not including tip. So very reasonable!
