| Spayed! We went on vacation last week. My spouse dropped off my little Abby to be spayed and we boarded her with the same vet until we came back. I missed her so much and when we got back, my husband picked her up in the morning, I went on to work and did not get to see her until I got back home after work. She was in her ex pen and whining when I got in . I let her out and instead of jumping on the couch like normal, and greeting me as she normally does, she ran to the back door, so I let her out and she ran down the steps. She just stood there. I came out and sat on the steps. She started barking at me, just stood there staring at me, making little expressions on her face and barked at me, for quite a while!! I think she was telling me she did not like being away from us for so long,(5 nights) ! She finally forgave me and jumped in my lap and climbed all over my head. But I am glad I finally made the decision to spay her! I got her a T-shirt from Dognutz at the beach. |

| That was alot for her to experience without her Mommy there for support. You're lucky she only stayed mad for a few hours ... but she still loves you and has forgiven you. They can be such odd little creatures at times!

| Yes, I belive you're right! She was only mad for a long 5 or 6 minutes though. Just long enough to tell me off and give me several hard and incredulous looks, but she did forgive me I did feel bad for leaving her for so long, but it seemed to be a good deal at the time. She was in good hands, even though she may not have known it. |
