| Prayers and good thoughts for my little guy.. I know I have not been on long, I love looking thru the threads and seeing what these wonderful pups are up to. My Fred is just a year old and has been off since july, the last few dayss he has just become super skinny but still ok, we called the vet and got him in today, they think he has leptsporosis(sp).. When I talked to the vet at 5pm he was in total kidney failure and had been put on antibiotics and had eaten and drank.. He acutally ate an entire bowl of some food that the vet said is good for kidney problems and most dogs dont like it.. Anyway, I am super scared for my little guy and I dont know what to do other than wait and hope he gets better. Has anyone had to deal with Lepto? Any thoughts you could send would be so wonderful, this little guy needs all the luck he can get right now |

| I have no personal experience with Lepto. But you absolutely have my prayers. Hugs to you, please keep us posted on his progress.

| I know this is one shot that most are so scared to give their little ones. Sending prayer's for your Fred that he will get well again. Eating is a great sign, finger's crossed he gains strength and is able to fight this. Hugs, |

| Oh My he is so much better, I cant even believe what a difference 24 hours makes. He even played fetch for a bit I know his kidneys are still sick and we have a long road ahead of us. He has to be on antibiotics for basically the next 6 weeks and may have some kidney damage long term and be on special food but thats ok, I am just so glad to have my buddy home again barking at cars and the mailman Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers |
