| Rips Every Toy Apart!!!! Our yorkie first starting ripping the stuffing out of every soft toy we gave him. So we tried those tough toys and he found a way to get holes through those and eat insides of those. Yesterday I bought a rubber ring thinking there was no way he would ruin that, and he started to bite off pieces of rubber and ate them. He is not like this with anything else in the house, only his toys. How can we get him to just play with his toys, not destroy them? |

| He he sounds like you have a little "terror" on your hands One of my yorkies did the same thing! Have you seen the toys with no stuffing? Maybe that will help.. I would just try to find something that he cant chew up..but sounds like he is pretty strong.. Maybe he is teething?? Did you try any bully sticks or any chew things like that?

| Lola does the same thing to ever toy I have ever given to her. I'm always on the hunt for the cheap toys. I hate paying $5-8 on a toy thats only going to last for a day or two at most.

YT 500 Club Member | Sounds just like Alfie. First he has to pull out the eyes & then the nose which means the enevitable chase to get them off him before he or Rosie swollows one, then he'll start pulling the stuffing out. Got him this time though, brought them a toy snake thats about 3ft long. The eyes are gone but I dare him to get all the way to the bottom through the holes he created. |

| Check out this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/fun...rable-toy.html I listed my suggestions for durable toys in post #5. I tried to do a copy & paste but then none of the links worked. So, I thought I would just link the whole thread. There are other great suggestions in the thread too. Hope you find something that helps. Mine will play with a toy for months and then suddenly shred it. I never know what sets them off. Actually I think Ben is the only one who destroys toys. Rocky prefers to chew up my flip flops
