| Sure. I use this chart: Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow Go down to where it says 11 weeks (the age of your puppy now); then follow across til you find the weight. Your pup is 1.72 lbs, multiply that by 16 to get the number of ounces, which is 27.52 ounces. I rounded up to the next full number 28 ounces. Now follow that column down to where it says 18 months -- that is considered adult weight. You will see 4 pounds. So, the GUESSTIMATE for your pup's adult weight would be 4 pounds. Hope that makes sense.

| Find Coby's age in the left-most column. (He's about 12 weeks old now right?) Now move your finger or eye to the right on the same row until you reach his weight in ounces. He's about 28 ounces so you can go to 26 or 30. Now if you move down the selected row all the way to the bottom the chart will show 3.5 or 4 lbs. This would be his charted weight at 18 months. P.S. FlDebra - I was still writing when you posted. Tee-hee... We used different charts but arrived at approximately the same conclusion.

| You guys made it easy for me to follow, thanks!!! ....I have a quick question to piggy back on what star28c orginally asked ?.....is the chart accurate at any age? Or not until the puppy is 8 weeks or more? I ask because we are getting a new girl that is only 5 weeks old today (of course I will not be getting her for several more weeks) but was wondering if I had her weight now would that be accurate?? or do I have to wait until she is 8 weeks old, get that weight from the breeder to figure out the "guesstimate" adult weight?

Even so, this is just a general guess. He could stop growing early or keep growing later and wind up far from the original guesstimate. Mine, however, have followed almost exactly along with this chart. So, I think it is pretty accurate for the majority. Again, sorry -- I hate making mistakes like that!
