Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Baxter & Bayleigh spay/neuter Monday. I am a wreck. Monday they are both scheduled for their surgery. I know it is supposed to be best for their health, but I am so worried. I hope I dont cancel the appointment! My DH said I should wait, the Vet clinic said 6 months of age. So, here we go..... |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I am more worried for Bayleigh since she is only 3.5 lbs. But, they seemed to think there would be no problem. They said they do smaller babies than her. UGH! I will be glad to get them back home! |

| Seems like a good idea to do them both at the same time--that way, you can be attentive to both. They will probably leave each other alone because they will both be a bit under the weather. My two were always very caring when the other didn't feel well.

| That probably is a very good idea to have them both done as they will be sleepy and out of it for the first day or so. Good luck tomorrow. I am sure that you are very nervous, but just think, you'll only have to deal with this once! they will be fine. Please let us know how they do tomorrow. Hugs, B

| Last year I had both Doodlebug and Bogey done on the same day and it was by far the best thing that I could have done. At first I thought that it be easier to take care of one at a time but then I realized that they play WAY too much together. So I decided to have them done at the same time. It really worked out well. You are making a good decision for their health and you once it is done you will not have to worry or stress about it any more. Let us know how they are doing.

| I know you'll be nervous but know you're doing the right thing! And since both are being operated on they'll both be sleepy and recuperating together! No need to worry about one injuring the other than! I was worried stiff with Zoe's spay but knew it had to be done and all turned out well. Soon enough they'll be out and good to go once again! We'll thinking good thoughts for both of them (and you)!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Update Ok. So, I took Baxter at 7AM this morning but NOT Bayleigh. I dont know about his tummy, but mine is a wreck!! Bayleigh started acting a little weird yesterday. She slept ALL day. I dont know if she is going through a growing spurt, teething or what. BUT, I could not take her to face surgery when I new she was not herself. We would hold her out in front of us and she wouldnt even open her eyes. This morning she is better. Maybe she needed rest??? I am sure I will do it, but she is so prissy and tiny, I am just freaked out right now. MY DH did agree, he didnt want her going this morning either. I pick Baxter up at 4 today. |
