| Extra small harness Where can I find a harness for a 3 pound puppy? I realize, he will grow out of it but I need to get him started somehow. So far, he's stepped out of anything I've tried. They're all way too big. Help!!!

| I have seen some very small cat harnesses before, but I am not sure if they would work for a puppy..? Another solution may be using a vest harness instead of a regular strap harness. I am guessing the extra small harnesses at pet specialty stores are too small??? Hopefully, someone will have other solutions. |

| Chattiesmom makes silk harnesses to custom fit your furbaby. I ordered one recently and can't wait to get it. Here's the thread regarding them. I would recommend her! http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...elections.html |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I too was going to suggest Chattiesmom. In the meantime, a ferret harness will work on a small puppy. |

| Harness for 3lb'er I bought my first harness for my 4lb. yorkie, 1 lb at that time in S.D. Calif. You can go online shopluckydog.com its called a buddy belt. My Amore' wore his 1st. buddy belt for a little over a year before he outgrew it. This harness is leather very good quality and so comfortable he wears it to bed, which comes in handy when taking him out first thing in the morning. If you can't find it there google The Dog Bar in South Beach, Miami has them and they are online also. Thats where I just purchased his two new buddy belts, black and brown. I Love Them !!! And so does Amore'. Best, Chris

| Extra small harness Petco carries a brand called "li'l pals" harness and leash. The adjustable harness is too big for my 8 week old baby when adjusted all the way small as she weighs less than 1 lb. You can order it online at Petco.com. |

| Amazon will probably have some in xxs. Just a reminder though, make sure your little puppy has all his shots before taking him on walks. It's super easy for them to pick up parvovirus. |

| Petco has a very sturdy ferret harness that I got my little guy and it fits perfectly. The lil pals brand harness was still too big for him. The ferret harness is the same material as a dog harness and is adjustable. It also comes in a few colors. The leash that comes with it is a bit short but we use our own. I think the price is about $10 so very inexpensive compared to others. If you need a pic I can post one for you. |

| I went to a dog show once and someone was selling puppy harnesses. They looked like they would've fit Cookie when I first got her. She was about 1.5 pounds at 12 weeks. If you get one at a dog show you'll also get to see all the pretty dogs.
