| what colour will she be hi Mitzi is 17 weeks old & the standard black & tan puppy colour, but the fur on the top of her head is growing through a light silver grey colour. The rest of her face around the muzzle area is golden. I know sime yorkes do end up grey on their head but her mum & dad both had totally golden coloured heads, which is what i was really hoping mitzi would turn out like. Is this still likely & the silver grow out or will she keep the silver? this is my first yorkie so don't have a clue but i'm sure some of you experienced owners out there can tell me how your babies changed. thanks |

| Harley is still changing. He was dark of course when he was little. Then he was light and now he has a cream color on his head! Here are a few pictures as he changed! Hope this helps!

| My Lola is 11 months and she is silver on the top of her head and golden around the muzzle. It seems that the silver is fading a bit but I am not sure what will happen, I will keep you posted as to the silver hair lol |

| In my avatar you can see that Sophie has some silver on her head and top of her legs. She was about 5 or 6 months old in that photo. She is now 9 almost 10 months old and most of the silver has turned to a light tan and where it hasn't completely turned yet I can see tan at her roots. It can be two or three years before they reach their full coat color. Jackie & my Sophie Last edited by MI Yorkielover; 09-20-2009 at 06:32 AM. |
