Senior Yorkie Talker | So many people have this issue. I don't know why strangers feel the need to tell you what breed your dog looks like. I have a pure bred, show quality Silky that people constantly refer to as a Yorkie and I have a pure bred Biewer that know one knows what he is. I am constantly asked what combination of breeds is he. Frustrating. You need to just smile and tell them he is a purebred Yorkie, thank you very much. Here is my Silky. Check out my albums for more.

| Oh my gosh - I HATE the comments like "he's a rat" or "that's dog food" It makes me so angry, but it also hurts my feelings! My Yorkies are my babies, and it makes me so mad and sad that they are making fun of them!

| People can be rude -- you wouldn't tell a person that their kid has big ears, why do it for a dog? I get told ALL the time that Jackson is probably a Silky, by vets, groomers, people in stores, etc. I don't care if he is. I personally think he is mixed with Silky/Yorkie because certain things about him are sooo Yorkie, while sometimes I see the Silky in him as well. Either way, he's my boy, I don't care, other people shouldn't care either.

| Smile to yourself and get on down the road. You know how wonderful your dog is, it is their loss that they are not as fortunate as you are.

| I looked at your pictures, and wow your yorkie is soo cute ! I know much about this breed and the standard, i don't think his ears are big, they are just in the normal size If you check my FlickR, Flickr: I Am The Sun's Photostream ,then you can see pictures of my boy. My boys ears are perfect (except they are floopy!) Everything with him is 100% in standard, EXCEPT his floopy ears who wouldnt go up, his overbite and big size (he's 6 kg.)
