YorkieTalk Newbie! | Dog Food Has anyone ever used Blue Dog Food? And, if so, how does it match up with the other dog foods that have been mentioned. I tried my dog on Natural Balance and he turned his nose up and walked out of the room. He is a very thin dog to begin with and I don't want him to starve to death while I try to find something he will like. I fed him a scrambled egg this morning and a bowl of peas and boiled chicken for dinner. I love him and want him to be healthy and have a long life. |

| Blue Buffalo? I think it's a pretty good food. BB food contains "Life Source Bits" though and a lot of dogs will spit them out. I also think it's kind of expensive compared to some other foods, but maybe that's just me. I recommend Nature's Variety Instinct. Jackson has been a very picky eater and finally at 11 months old, this is the first dry food he will eat w/o something else mixed in. It's a very highly rated food, has great ingredients, I've heard wonderful things about the factory it's made in, no recalls, etc. I also like the Natura company who makes Innova, Evo, etc.

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Dog Food Thank you Brister for your reply. I returned the unused can of Natural Balance to the Nutrition Pet Store in my area and purchased a can of Canidae and hoped all the way home that Toby would like it. I talked to him, while I opened the can, and told him this brand is really good for you. I put the bowl in front of him and he gobbled it up in a split second. My search is over and my dog is happy. |

| I don't know anything about the one you mentioned but I can tell I have Fancy on Life's Abundance and she loves it. If you would like to check it out and read more about it here is the link. Clothes, Beds, Healthy Food, Treats, - Healthy Dog Food A fellow YT memeber, Breny, is a rep for them and sells it. I'm sure she would be more than happy to answer any questions you had about it too.
