| They did it again I took Tila into the groomer to get her behind area cleaned up, her ears done, and nails clipped. And what did they do? They clipped the hair from her nose and eye area! I'm so mad, I was crying in the car and everyone was getting mad because I was upset and telling me it's just hair. But it's not, I want Tila to have a proper topknot and everytime we're almost there the groomer cuts it off. It took months, to get it where it was. She said she clipped it because she couldn't see. She could see, I usually clip it up with clips because some of the hair was still a teensy bit too short to go up into her topknot. I didn't clip it up yesterday though. I was so mad, now Tila has to go through the growing out process again. I'm almost ready to just give up. |

| IMHO I would say its time to find a different groomer. It sounds to me that they don't listen to what you want. They do what they prefer. Thats not having good customer service if you ask me.

| True,or start groomer her yourself,so you want be upset about it at the end, because you will k now what you will want for your baby, and not dishing out money to a groomer who doesn't listen to what you said!!!!!!!

| I feel your pain! I am in the process of letting Ben's grow out. I had actually okay'd cutting his hair into a visor because I had complained he would not keep anything in his hair. But once you cut it, you have to always keep cutting it. Then they cut his nose and under his eyes. That is even more of a pain to grow out because it goes through the stage of sticking up in his eyes. But I am being persistent this time and he is almost there. People tell me he can't see too. I keep trying to keep his topknot up but he will get it out before the day is done. Still, it is so much easier to keep it out of their eyes if they have long hair and it is groomed like a Yorkie is supposed to be. It just takes too much constant cutting otherwise. Sorry you are having to start over, especially since you did not want them to do it! I would change groomers too.

| Time for a new groomer. I know they get busy and might forget, but that is no excuse for something that takes so long to grow out. Don't forget to let them know why you will not be coming back. I usually write out a 3x5 card to give the groomer if there is something I want them to remember. (I do this at the doctor for myself also) Jot down your phone number so they have it handy for a quick call without having to look up your file. And don't forget a nice tip--that works wonders!

| I just don't understand why they need written notes. What is so hard about remembering DON'T CUT THE HAIR ON THE NOSE!!! I would be livid. It takes a loong time to grow that hair out. What an idiot!!!!

| I'm too cheap to pay $40 for a haircut for each of my 4 lb dogs, haha, so I do it myself. I don't really get a pro job (I'm still working on getting better...), but I get what I want, and I save a LOT of money. You just gave me a great idea, by the way! My hubby won't let me use bows, but I bet he would let me use a little black clip or a plain rubber band! Thanks for that!

| Yes, I think I will just start grooming her myself. I'll take her in to get her nails done since I'm a chicken to do her nails. And this was a different groomer! It wasn't the same one. I told the woman at the front my instructions, I told her do not touch her face I'm growing it out into a proper top knot, she said okay. I was standing there while she was talking to the groomer and she told her just the ears, behind, and nails. She said all right, and she still cut it!!! This was in the city, because I went into the city yesterday and made an appointment ahead of time, so it was a different groomer and like I said I was specific about what I wanted but she didn't listen. I would've argued about it and made a huge stink, but I was not feeling good. I have a terrible cold, I was just so congested felt like I could hardly breathe that I just wanted to leave. So I had my cry in the car and went home. So now it's time to try growing it again even though it's gonna be a pain for Tila. |

| it definitely sounds like the groomer simply didn't follow your wishes, which is the worst thing to do in my opinion. if you don't do what your customers want, you will not have customers. period. i wish you the best of luck!

The 3 Musketeers Donating Member | Go and get a new groomer. I had a groomer that I took my dogs to here in town. She did not follow my instructioins. I was very disappointed and very upset. I then brought my babies to a friend's groomer 40 miles away. I explained exactly how I wanted their hair cut and she followed my instructions to the letter. She even called me to ask a question before grooming Misty. So go and get a new groomer.

| Awe I know how you feel. The first time I took Copper in they shaved his little nose, I spcifically said, clean him up. Dont touch his face! she just couldn't resist. He looked cute, but it took so much work to grow it to where it wouldn't poke his eyes I groom my self now, I do not want to pay someone else to mess up my dogs hair, i can mess it up my self Ha but really both my babies have great topknots now, lots of patience but we are there. I am sorry that you have to start all over again. I def. wouldn't go back to that groomer.
