| betty ford for dogs? Well, is seems Remy is an oenophile - he's a little wine-o! And, no we do not voluntary give him wine. However, just leave a glass unattended on a coffee table, end table, dining room table, conference room table at the office (late night ), or any other table and within about 10 seconds he has scaled something, gotten to the glass, and has his little snout in there sipping away. Oh, and its not just vino - he eat will eat a cork if he can not get to the glassware. Last night I was looking for my corkscrew - I had left it on the table after I opened the bottle (cork still attached). Went out of the room (glass in hand, I'm no dummy...)! Upon my return, no corkscrew. And, no Remy. Where was he? Happily under the chair, corkscrew between front paws with cork in MOUTH! Can't imagine that's too good for his tummy! Talk about a desperate alcoholic - eating the cork?! Never expected this one.... |

| That very funny... My bailey is just as bad... any kind of beverage that is open and she has access to it she will go for it. It can be beer and will still be all over it... I always keep a close eye on her. Silly girl!!!

| Yogi could be his roommate at the clinic. He loves his Poppa's beer. None of our other dogs have ever shown an interest in beer. They always think, if we have it - it must be good. DH would tip the open end of the bottle to them, they'd take a sniff and back away. The looks on their faces make me giggle. "Poppa, is Momma making you take medicine?!" But my sweet gentle loving little Yogi, just started licking away at the bottle. DH took it right away from him and he stood there licking his lips and asking for more. "mmm Poppa, that's good stuff. Lets watch some football, drink beer and belch all afternoon." Yogi is all boy. Now DH has to be careful where he leaves his beer when he gets up from the couch.
