| Whose The Boss I went to an outdoor free concert last night in one of our parks. It has been going on all summer and last night was the last one. I was standing talking to a man in the doggie section, and looked around to see where Maxwell was. Darn it, he jumped into my chair that I brought He kept doing this while we were there. He's never done this before and I thought it was cute for a while, but he didn't like it when I decided I wanted to sit down. Does this ever happen to anyone here~? Do you think it is this because he turned 2 years old recently~? |

| I think it's possible that was were he felt safe and secure. The chair would have been a familar object from home and have your scent on it. Could it be that he was overwhelmed by all the sites/sounds/smells/activity and just needed to watch everything from a safe place?

| chair stealer Mine do this too. If I'm sitting on the couch watching TV and get up to go to the bathroom, I come back and there's one (have five) laying where I was sitting. If I'm on the patio and go inside for a cool drink, I come back, there's one or two in my chair. There are seven other chairs on the patio that they could sit in, but, no, it must be the one I was in! I'm not sure if it's a "look at me, pet me" thing or what.

| Winston is a seat stealer too. If I or my hubby get up to do anything he will immediately go to lay in our spot. If he sees me going to sit in a different spot he comes over and tries to get underneath me. I have to move him so I don't sit on him. It is pretty funny but annoying at the same time. I think he just likes anything that has to do with mommy or daddy.

| Fancy doesn't steal my seat, she just won't sit down until I do and then she sits on my lap. Maybe he just didn't like being on the ground.
